Ben Hill UMC Children, Youth, Young Adult, Outreach, Social Concerns, Legal, Food Bank and Prison Ministries invites all individuals, families and ministries to participate in this years’ 14th Annual Back to School Jam on Saturday, July 26, 2025!
We will be providing students with FREE Eye, Ear, Dental Screens, FREE haircuts, FREE Shoes (until limit is meet,) FREE Physical and Mental Wellness Education and Screenings, FREE Games and prizes, FREE lunch, FREE Health Fair, FREE Legal Education and More!
For Primary and Elementary School, you may purchase traditional bookbags. For ALL Middle School and High School students they are required to have CLEAR or MESH bookbags ONLY!
We will continue to sponsor college students. Please keep in mind when shopping for College Students that they have heavy books and may carry multiple books at one time and will need sturdier book bags when making your purchases.
We are requesting that each book bag include the following:

The Donation Drop-off Deadline has been extended until next Wed., July 23.
DONATION DROP-OFF LOCATIONS:
1) Tomorrow (Sat.) & Wed. via the Food Bank drive-thru (10:30am-12:30pm);
2) Mon. - Wed. via the Church Office;
3) This Sunday via the barrels located in the narthex; near the entrance to the fellowship hall next to the stairway; and in the church office admin area.
ATTIRE: Members, please wear your college, Greek, or other affiliate t-shirts. In keeping with this year's Back to School theme, you may also wear your cowboy hats, boots and bring your fans!!
Recommendations for Individual and Family Donations:
At least 1 Primary Book Bag, 2 Elementary Book Bags and 1 Middle/High Clear Book Bag per household
Recommendations for Adult Ministry Donations:
At least 2 Primary Book Bags, 8 Elementary Book Bags and 2 Middle/High Clear Book Bags
Recommendations for Children Ministry Donations:
At least 1 Primary and 1 Elementary Book Bag per household
Recommendations for Youth Ministry Donations:
At least 2 Middle/High Clear Book Bags per household
Recommendations for Young Adult Ministry Donations:
At least 1 College Book Bag per household
Book Bag and Shoe Drive | June 4-July 16, 2025
We will collect Book Bags and Shoes on Wednesdays and Saturdays at the Food Bank when you bring your food donations on the following dates between 10:30AM and 12:30PM.
Wednesdays: June 4, June 11, June 18, June 25, July 9, July 16
Saturdays: June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, July 12
