FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
By the grace of God, Ben Hill UMC has established a program to assist qualified persons facing a temporary financial hardship.
The assistance is the result of the kindness and generosity of our members and friends, and we are grateful for them, as well as for our community partners.
Residency Requirement:
Housing or utility assistance is available for residents of the greater Ben Hill community, and includes zip codes beginning with 30 and ending with: 213, 268, 291, 310, 311, 314, 315, 331, 336, 337, 344, 349 or 354
Intake Process
- Requests for assistance are ONLY received on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 404-927-9883 (voicemail) between 8:30am – 10:30am
- If follow-up is granted, the church will place a return phone call within 48 hours, regarding the next steps
- If no return phone call is made, interested persons may repeat the intake process on the 1st Tuesday of the following month
- There are no exceptions to this process and there are no other means of scheduling an appointment for financial assistance
FOOD BANK
The Ben Hill Food Bank is open on Saturdays from 9am to 1pm. Please note, the Food Bank will be closed from time to time to observe holidays. Please check the notification in the webpage footer to confirm the next Saturday the Food Bank is scheduled to be open, usually updated by Thursday of each week.
TRINITY TABLE (Outreach Ministry)
For over twenty years Ben Hill has joined with other organizations to provide hot meals and spiritual encouragement to the homeless through the Trinity UMC Table Ministry. In preparation for our next Trinity Table service on Sunday, December 8, 2024, we need your help!
