Ash Wednesday

The use of ashes as a sign of mortality and repentance has a long history in Jewish and Christian worship, and the Imposition of Ashes can be a powerful nonverbal and experiential way of participating in the call to repentance and reconciliation. This practice is the historic focus of Ash Wednesday observance and gave the day its name. ~ UMC Book of Worship

Please join us on Wednesday, Feb. 14 at NOON for our Ash Wednesday Service as we begin our Lenten journey. Service is available in-person and online. If you can't make the in-person service and would like to watch and participate in the live online service or anytime after the live broadcast:

There are three opportunities to pick up your ashes-to-go:*.

1) DRIVE THRU: Saturday, Feb. 10, 10:30am-12Noon | Orange/Senior Lot.

2) BEFORE & AFTER WORSHIP SERVICE: Sunday, Feb. 11. Look for the table located near the sanctuary organ.

3) CHURCH OFFICE: Monday, Feb. 5 to Friday, Feb. 9; Monday, Feb 12; and Tuesday, Feb. 13. Church Office hours are: Mon.-Thur: 8:30am-3:30pm and Fri: 8:30am-1pm.
