Children’s Ministry at Ben Hill UMC!
We warmly welcome you and your family to join us in person every Sunday at 9:00 AM in Room 202, ages 3-11, for Ben Hill United Methodist Church’s Children’s Ministry/Children’s Church—a vibrant, loving space where children grow spiritually, emotionally, and socially. At Ben Hill UMC, we believe that children deserve a joyful, engaging, and nurturing environment where they can learn about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in ways that are meaningful and tailored just for them. Whether your child is just beginning their spiritual journey or already on their way, our ministry is dedicated to meeting them where they are—with love, understanding, and support.
Why Choose Ben Hill’s Children’s Ministry? This is a safe, supportive space where children are free to be themselves, ask questions, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with Christ. Because we care deeply about your child’s spiritual journey. We tailor each lesson and activity to their current stage in life—emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually. Our mission is to help them feel welcomed, heard, seen, understood—and above all, loved.
What Your Child Can Expect: In Room 202, every Sunday is a new adventure in faith! Children enjoy:
• Bible reading and interactive discussion, developing critical thinking through asking and answering questions—even forming their own ideas and theories.
• Praise and worship, with singing, instruments, and even creating their own worship songs.
• Creative expressions through drawing, painting, writing, and journaling.
• Prayer and reflection time, where children learn to talk to and hear from God.
• Fun, educational activities like puzzles, word searches, science experiments, and games that encourage teamwork and leadership.
• Language exploration, such as learning basic American Sign Language, Hebrew, and more to help spread the Gospel.
